Bringing the World to Atlanta and Atlanta to the World

About the Project

Mission
Art Papers is an Atlanta-based and globally engaged nonprofit that serves the creative community and the culturally curious by expanding the dialogue around contemporary art and culture, exploring the ways they affect and reflect human experience. We do this in print, online, and through public programming.

Double Your Support
With your donation -- doubled dollar for dollar by the City of Atlanta -- you are supporting a year of Art Papers programs:

• Over the next 12 months, ART PAPERS magazine will take on the concerns of globalism, civil rights, and conditions of living and working.
ARTPAPERS.ORG will expand upon the above topics while also providing space for timely content from Atlanta and beyond.
ART PAPERS LIVE brings artist Dario Robleto (October) and writer and curator Laura Raicovich (January) to Atlanta with more speakers to be announced.
• In partnership with The Bakery & MINT is Founding Stories: Oral Histories of Atlanta’s DIY Art Spaces, a program that explores Atlanta’s evolving art scene from the 1970s to the 2010s.
• Launching in 2020 is Art Papers’ newest program, ART PAPERS LISTEN, a podcast initiative.

Your generous donation will help cover the cost of commissioning original editorial and artistic content from the 80+ artists and writers with whom we work annually. Your support will help us bring in the amazing speakers for AP LIVE, our free public lecture series. Funds raised will help cover the cost of recording, transcribing, and publishing the Founding Stories project and will help develop our AP LISTEN podcast initiative.

Impact
Over the past 43 years, Art Papers has championed the careers of thousands of artists and writers via the written word and artistic commissions. ART PAPERS magazine delivers compelling content to mailboxes, newsstands, and bookstores around the world. Our public programs inspire creative thinking and contribute to the cultural vitality of our community. Our website dynamically connects Atlanta to the world, and the world to Atlanta.

Your donation helps us produce public programming that reaches hundreds of people annually; publish a magazine read by thousands locally and around the world; and commission original content enjoyed by tens of thousands online.

Please donate today to double your donation and double your impact.
