Young Hearts Theater Inc, 501(c)(3) charitable organization for seniors 60 years or older to continue performing arts participation. We never charge admission to performances.
About the Project
This campaign is to fund the current 'in production' show, "Kentucky, Our Homeland" to be performed by the Young Hearts Theatre group at the Ursuline Arts Center April 7th thru 10th with each matinee to commence at 2p.m. The cost of producing and presenting our shows {two annually} has continually increased each year. We have traditionally never sold tickets nor charged for attendance. We normally "pass the hat" for love donations.
However, due to the climbing cost of production, we are now reaching out to the "Arts Community" seeking additional funding to allow us to continue presenting our shows as "free performances".
Our group serves a two-fold purpose:
a) provide a constructive creative outlet for those seniors wanting to share their gifts and talents in the performing arts as entertainment
b) provide such entertainment to senior-care/nursing facility residents, church and civic groups and the community at large in a first class theater venue
Your donations given through this campaign will be 'matched' by other benefactors which should off-set the production costs associated with our 2016 Spring Show, "Kentucky, Our Homeland".
