Pursuing The Rainbow Coalition

About the Project

It has long been the fact that The Atlanta Boy Choir is the true blending of all the races.  It was Atlanta’s first arts group to integrate and had as one of its main supporters Mrs. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Now that it is in its sixtieth year, the Atlanta Boy Choir is happy to announce that because of this brotherhood of races it has continued through the years, over half of the choir is comprised of boys who proudly represent what America is supposed to represent- Black, White, Asian, and Latino and also it represents every religious group.

These impressive results are achieved by this organization striving to develop true equality by its ongoing efforts to contact those from every area in the Atlanta District and to provide assistance to those parents who need help both financially as well as physically.

Each year there are many of our lads who come from disadvantaged homes and those who have a single parent family in neighborhoods near our Mid Town campus. We feel these special children are perhaps those who most need our services as educators as well as good parental influence.  Won't you help sponsor one of these deserving boys?

With your help we can offer Tuition Scholarships for 12 Choir Boys for 9 months of musical education, instruction, weekly rehearsals and wardrobe this year! All gifts will go directly into our Tuition Scholarship Fund this season.

We also have an excellent sports environment for those boys in Atlanta who wish to pursue this avenue of their life and are s
o pleased to have on our register, Christian Harrington, a football star from The University of Alabama as well as the great Italian soccer star, Marco Seta.  These and others like them contribute their time and talents in helping our boys have a complete well rounded life.

Yes, we have been called Atlanta’s Ambassador’s of Song by way of our many concerts throughout our great city- but the greater treasure is having those who are brothers of all colors, religious beliefs and ethnic backgrounds that comprise our lot.

You can help us continue on this route as we search out and find young boys who love to sing but do a lot more for themselves and each other by dedicating their lives to love. Faith, Hope, and Love.  But the greatest of these is love.

Yes, you can be a part of this! Help one of our little boys today.
